Meet Doctor Viechnicki

Dr. Joseph Viechnicki

Dr. Joseph Viechnicki is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists. He loves playing golf and was privileged to play in the 2011 US Senior Open.

Dr. Viechnicki has helped over 10,000 children and adults improve their smiles over the past 31 years.

Dr. Viechnicki earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pennsylvania State University. He graduated from Temple University with a Doctor of Dental Surgery, a Master of Science in Dentistry, and a Certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Viechnicki became Board Certified in 1990.

Community leader

From the start of his career, Dr. Viechnicki has been a leader in the region’s dental community. He was a founding member of the Tri-State Orthodontic Study Club and former president of the Lehigh Valley Orthodontic Society.

Dr. Viechnicki’s passion for education reaches beyond his profession. He has served on the Moravian Academy Board of Trustees. He continues to support local schools to encourage the intellectual growth of children.

Outside the office

Dr. Viechnicki and his wife, Dr. Margaret Viechnicki, live in Bethlehem, PA. They are extremely proud of their two children. Dr. Viechnicki’s son, Dr. Bryon Viechnicki, works with Dr. Viechnicki as an orthodontist. Dr. Viechnicki’s daughter, Katie, is an architect and practices in Philadelphia.

When not in the office, you will find Dr. Viechnicki on the golf course. He also enjoys skiing, traveling, eating and spending time with his family.
